Timothy Truong, MD

Timothy Truong, MD graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in public health where he discovered a passion for working for underserved communities. During medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he further pursued his interest in public health, becoming a leader of the Einstein Community Health Outreach Clinic. During his internship at BronxCare Health System, he cared for COVID-19 patients. He has researched ocular trauma, uncovering injury trends in different racial and ethnic groups. He has also worked on projects in corneal hysteresis, glaucoma, and gender disparities in ophthalmology.
