Sumner Lawson, MD

Dr. Sumner Lawson grew up in Bozeman, Montana and received her undergraduate degree from Colorado College in Global Health and Education. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she discovered her love of ophthalmology and developed a passion for improving education on the impact of climate change on health. In 2023, she was elected by classmates and preceptors to the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

In her free time, Sumner enjoys trail running with her dog, Maggie, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
